We are currently working with a well-established SME in Knowsley, offering a fantastic opportunity to join their skilled team. This role is a temporary to permanent position, with full training provided, making it an ideal chance for someone eager to grow in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate Press Brake Machines, ensuring precision and accuracy
• Perform regular quality checks on parts to ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health and safety standards
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce high-quality products
• Utilize measuring equipment to ensure parts are within required tolerances
• Follow internal lean manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency
• Collaborate with the team to meet production goals

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience operating Press Brake Machines, particularly CNC models
• A solid understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to work from them
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Experience using measuring equipment for quality control
• A proactive and self-motivated individual who takes initiative
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous
