Competitive Salary & BenefitsJob title: Van and Truck B2B Pricing AnalystLocation:Hybrid working based in either Europcar Luton support centre or the Leicester Head Office.About the role:Reporting to the UK B2B Pricing Manager you will be responsible for maximising revenue for a multi-million pound portfolio of B2B customers by optimising pricing and managing availability. The role requires excellent commercial awareness and strong analysis based decision making capabilities together with effective communication and stakeholder management.The successful candidate will ideally have had prior Revenue Management experience as well as Vans & Trucks (V&T) specific experience within either the rental or leasing market. They will be an excellent communicator and confident in making and accepting responsibility for decisions that impact the wider business. The role will include a focus on project work related to the V& T segment, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver on specific pricing and business objectives.Main objectives:Help to deliver UK RPU target in line with RCM objectivesProduce rates for new and existing business using clear approachAchieve rate consistency using clear rate logic with cohesive rate actionsSupport the RCM approach to simplification and standardisation for pricing across the businessSupport V& T BU with specific pricing actions to help deliver the 5 year planAd hoc support for yielding activity as requiredKey tasks and responsibilities:Collaborate with the sales team to acquire customer and market insights to assist in executing all professional rate renegotiationsExecute all rate renegotiations by adjusting pricing to optimise revenue with the aim to exceed minimum profitability and key KPIs set out in the top level strategy and service line objectivesEnsure all rate renegotiations are aligned to segment standards and tracked regularlyCoordinate the alignment of activities across departments (Corporate Sales, Sales Support, Controlling and Marketing) and continually apply revenue management practices to improve business profitabilityBi-annual review of Professional segment standards for ancillary pricing and SLA’sAnalyse and implement strategic yielding activity to optimise revenue by channel, duration, fleet and customer mix within a predefined best practice frameworkEnsure that forecasted volume, RPD and revenue is achieved in line with availabilityParticipate as a key stakeholder in wider projects for pricing related topicsControl the governance and auditing of any system data (product / contracts) containing rates or pricingDeliver future RCM developments of pricing processes, tools and systemsSupport the wider business with any pricing and data queriesRecommend and implement changes to current processes to improve efficiencyKey skills and attributes required:High level of commercial awareness with Van & Truck specific experienceUnderstanding of demand and supply within a marketRevenue Management and/or Pricing experienceExcellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumenAbility to summarise analysis concisely using different mediums to illustrate key pointsStrong presentation skills to all levels of managementProven effective stakeholder management with excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Excel and PowerPoint (pivot tables, vlookups required)Attention to details and organisational skills are a mustQuick learner, flexible and reactive to a changing environment and role over timeStrong problem solving skillsAbility to prioritise and organise workload effectively to meet tight deadlines and maintain a high standard of workWhy choose Europcar?Joining the team of this market leading brand will give you the opportunity to progress your career in the rental industry.
