Primary Class Teacher
As a Primary Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that inspires and motivates students. You will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment, developing lesson plans, and assessing student progress. Your passion for teaching and commitment to student development will help foster a love of learning in our pupils.
Title: Primary Class Teacher
Pay: £157.66 per day minimum (Paid to scale)
Location: Grangetown, Cardiff
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm

The school is looking for a Primary Class Teacher
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner who continually strives to improve the teaching and learning that occurs within their classroom
- Demonstrates high expectations of themselves and of children to ensure all pupils reach their potential
- Create a stimulating learning environment to engage, motivate, and educate pupils effectively
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders including parents, carers, school staff, governors, and other professionals
- Demonstrate excellent positive behavior strategies
- Be able to work as part of a dedicated team providing insight and support
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Use innovative materials and resources such as ICT to enhance pupil learning
- Represent the school's values and ethos
The candidate: What you'll need to be a successful Primary Class Teacher
- At least 1 year of teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
- Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
