Primary School Teacher
Overview:
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a qualified and passionate Primary School Teacher to join a Primary School in Prestwich . The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and provide engaging and effective teaching that meets the diverse needs of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Delivery: Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to the varying needs of students.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment, employing effective behaviour management strategies to promote learning and respect.
Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Use assessment data to inform future planning and interventions.
Collaboration: Work closely with fellow teachers, support staff, and leadership to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning across the school.
Parent Communication: Establish effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behaviour, and any concerns, fostering a strong home-school partnership.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance your teaching practice.
Safeguarding: Uphold and promote the school's safeguarding policies, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
Qualifications: Teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience: Previous experience working in a UK primary school setting is required.
Training: Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year is desirable; however, some training will be provided.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional references related to childcare or education.
