Primary SENCo role

SENCo - Primary School (Croydon)
We are seeking an experienced SENCo to join a three-form entry primary school in Croydon. The position is for 4 or 5 days per week with an immediate start. The role is initially long-term until the end of the academic year, with the potential for continuation into the next year.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a SENCo, though a formal SENCo qualification is not required.
Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and coordinating the provision for children with special educational needs
• Supporting teachers in implementing effective strategies and interventions for SEN students
• Developing and maintaining SEN support plans
• Monitoring progress and tracking the outcomes for students with additional needs
• Liaising with parents, external agencies, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students
• Providing guidance and training to staff on SEN issues and best practices
