We have an exciting opportunity for you to join an incredible school in Peterborough as a Primary SEND Teacher. This full-time, permanent position (with part-time considered) offers the chance to work with a supportive team and help students aged 2-11 reach their full potential.





Responsibilities:






  • Planning and Marking: Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of SEND students.


  • Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire and motivate students.


  • Assessment: Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support for students.


  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, addressing any behavioral issues with patience and professionalism.


  • Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and SEND practices.






Requirements:






  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.


  • Experience: Previous experience working with primary-aged SEND students is preferred.


  • Skills: Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.


  • Attributes: Enthusiastic, motivated, positive, and committed to helping students reach their full potential.
