Job Requirements of this Primary Teacher and Assistant SENCO role in Woking




  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)

  • Experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

  • Ability to balance teaching responsibilities (3 days) with SENCO duties (2 days)

  • Understanding of trauma-informed practice and attachment theory

  • Commitment to developing engaging and differentiated lessons

  • Manage complex and challenging behaviours with a nurturing approach

  • Collaborate effectively with therapy professionals, parents/carers, and local authority teams





This role involves teaching and supporting children aged 11 to 17 with diverse backgrounds and special needs. The successful candidate will be part of a trauma and attachment-informed organisation, ensuring high-quality, therapeutic, and child-centred education. They will play a key role in inspiring students, developing curriculum, and providing outstanding outcomes for all children.
