The School and Role

This Ofsted rated ‘Good’ primary school wish to appoint a creative and inspirational Primary Teacher who is committed to creating a happy, challenging and effective learning environment for the children. Applications are invited from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

The successful candidate will need to:


  • demonstrate excellent classroom practice and have the children’s learning at the heart of all they do
  • have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
  • show commitment to high quality and effective assessment in order to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential;
  • have good organisational and classroom management skills
  • have the drive and determination to make a difference in all areas and through a commitment to the wider school community
  • be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious and up to date with recent education research and activity
  • work as part of a committed, supportive and hardworking team
  • promote the strong Catholic ethos of the school.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          Have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
