Teach 360 are currently working with a vibrant primary school in Hackney. This school are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their supportive staffing team. This individual is someone to join the school on a full-time permanent contract starting September 2024.

The role - Primary Teacher - Hackney

A primary school teacher usually teaches a variety of subjects within the national curriculum with a particular emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and science. The teaching profession offers many opportunities for advancement (for example, becoming a head of school) and specialisation (for example, becoming a special education coordinator in a primary school). There are often many preparations to be made both before and after school hours during the school year, so it can take a significant amount of time. You will, however, be allocated a certain amount of time during the day to plan, and you may have access to teaching assistants in your classroom during this time. To excel as a primary teacher, you must have a thorough understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to engage students in learning activities that are fun and engaging.
