Contract: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are in search of a Primary Teacher for an astounding primary school located in Dartford. This role is perfect for educators who thrive on variety and are eager to make a difference across multiple classroom settings.

About the Role:

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to primary school students, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential. Your ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment will be crucial in fostering both academic and personal growth.

Primary Teacher Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
  • Teach the national curriculum effectively, ensuring students achieve and exceed their educational goals.
  • Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students, fostering a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest educational practices and methodologies.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in the learning process.

Primary Teacher Job Requirements:


  • A recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, or an equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching primary-aged children, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management, effective communication and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to providing the highest quality education.
  • Adaptability and the ability to respond to the individual needs of students.

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.


  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
