Simply Education is working with a SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school based in Stockport, and they are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their exceptional team.

About the Role:

As a Primary Teacher at this SEMH school, you will work with secondary-aged pupils, many of whom are working at Key Stage 2 or 3 levels in literacy and numeracy. Your role will involve creating engaging and supportive learning environments, where each child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support children with SEMH needs.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with students and help them reach their potential.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of individual learners.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A passion for teaching and supporting children with SEMH needs.
  • Experience as a Primary Teacher in SEMH or mainstream settings.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
