Primary Teacher

Year 1 Teacher - Primary School, Kilburn (Summer Term Contract)
Start Date: April 2025 | Fixed-Term (Summer Term)

We are looking for a passionate and committed Year 1 Teacher to join our welcoming, community-focused one-form entry primary school in Kilburn for the upcoming Summer Term.

The Role:

• Full-time Year 1 Class Teacher position
• Fixed-term contract starting April#####5 until the end of the academic year
• Deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons that support all learners
• Work closely with a supportive senior leadership team and experienced teaching assistants
• Foster a warm, positive classroom culture where every child feels confident and motivated

What We're Looking For:

• A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and phonics (preferably experience with systematic synthetic phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc. or similar)
A reflective, proactive practitioner with excellent classroom management skills<#####ata-start="#####" data-end="1597">A team player who builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
