Teaching Assistant - Inspire and Support Young Minds
Do you have a passion for education and a desire to make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support both classroom learning and individual student development.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with teachers to provide engaging and effective classroom support.
Offer one-to-one assistance to students with additional needs, helping them to build confidence and achieve their goals.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
Support small group activities to encourage collaboration and active engagement.
Monitor and communicate student progress to teaching staff and parents as needed.
What You'll Bring:
Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to meeting individual needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate, are beneficial but not essential.
Must have a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate; we can assist you in obtaining one if needed.
Working Hours:
Hours are 8:30 to 3:30, ensuring you are there before the children start and to help prepare the classroom for the following day.
