About the Role

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Support children's learning through one-to-one and small group interventions.
• Help manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a calm and focused atmosphere.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support individual needs.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children in a primary school, nursery, or childcare setting (preferred but not essential).
• A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or teaching assistance is desirable but not required.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
