In the role you will support a range of pupils with SEND needs and others who require additional support to help them achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, providing targeted support to students across various subjects.
Individualised Learning: Work closely with students who require additional help, offering one-on-one support and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. (Having knowledge and past experience working with SEND pupils being a bonus!)
Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive classroom environment, managing behaviour in line with school policies and fostering a safe and respectful atmosphere for all students.
Resource Preparation: Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and efficiently.
Student Welfare: Support the social and emotional well-being of students, acting as a mentor and providing guidance as needed.
About the role:
Location: North Shields
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time
Hours: 8:30-3:30
Pay: £440-£600 per week
