Principal Acoustic Consultant
My client, a well-known and respected global brand, is active in 12 different sectors and provides a wide range of multi-disciplinary services to clients across commercial, residential, and industrial developments. They are currently looking for a Principal Acoustics Consultant to become part of their rapidly expanding and highly esteemed team.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in acoustics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Corporate membership with the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)
- Experience in conducting BREEAM assessments and HVAC noise measurements and prediction
- Experience in conducting noise and environmental assessments
- Experience in the RIBA design stages of projects and collaboration with architects on internal building acoustical design
- Up-to-date knowledge of acoustics-related legislation, regulation, and standards
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with internal and external design teams to develop plans for internal acoustic designs
- Effective liaison with stakeholders across various stages of development, demonstrating strong commercial acumen
- Proficiency in utilising noise modelling software such as INSUL, CadnaA, and Microsoft Excel for comprehensive analysis
