Candidate will need to travel across sites within Wales and will need to be able to work flexibly.Our Public Sector Client is looking for a Principal Analyst Programmer join their team on an interim basis. To lead in the development and interoperability of corporate, clinical and departmental systems to enable the Health Board to meet its key business and clinical objectives. To provide support, training and technical help to senior analyst programmers and analyst programmers as required.EXPERIENCEEssentialIT experience, managing all aspects of the systems development life-cycle. Management within a large complex organisation, of in-house software or API development Systems with responsibility for day to day management of staff involved in systems design, build and testing. Analysis and logical design of systems specifications and their associated data structures using formal methods. Lead in physical design and development of a wide variety of small stand-alone and large multi-user systems using client server and web based methodologies. Management of projects using agile methods.DesirableExperience of NHS systems development, specifically patient centric systems used for Patient and Clinical management, including: oIn depth knowledge of hospital processes related to IT systems. oComprehensive knowledge of data models within an NHS Health Board. Aided in the research and development of a large unique information management system, preferably within an NHS environment.SKILLSEssentialFormal analysis and logical design methodologies. Systems /API development preferably in .NET and HL7.Provide support to staff regarding IT development issues. An understanding of the Agile Project Management methodology.DesirableDatabase Administration
Oracle, SQL Server, No-SQLKnowledge of Spark and Hadoop Design using Oracle Designer and IBM Rational Rose. Knowledge of multi-user operating systems e.g. UNIX, Windows, Linux.SPECIAL KNOWLEDGEEssentialFormal analysis and logical design methodologies. Systems /API development preferably in .NET and HL7.Provide support to staff regarding IT development issues. An understanding of the Agile Project Management methodology.DesirableDatabase Administration
