About the Role This is a Full-Time Permanent Position based at SRC Newry Campus. As part of the organisation's ambitious plans, it is seeking to appoint a visionary leader to navigate a high-performing team of over 900 staff responsible for over 10,000 students. You will have knowledge and understanding of the pivotal role FE Colleges in Northern Ireland play in the delivery of skills development. You will pioneer innovation in learning, pursue commercial opportunities, and continually advise and assist the Governing Body in determining the strategic priorities of the College in line with the evolving needs of our economy, students and society. About You As part of the Essential Qualifications and Experience, you will have An honours degree or equivalent qualification at level 6 on the national Qualification Framework (NQF) A min of 5 years senior management experience of which 3 concurrent years must have been operating at strategic level. Note, the 3 concurrent years must be within the last 5 years in a multi- tiered/multifunctional organisational structure. Proven track record of budgetary and financial management within an organisation with an overall budget of at least £15 million per annum. Evidence of effective leadership within corporate governance systems including risk management and mitigation Excellent negotiating, influencing and communication skills dealing with diverse and sensitive issues, evidenced through extensive stakeholder engagement and a track record of building strategic relationships and partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. Effective leadership and management of people evidenced through leading change and organisational improvement with demonstration of integrity and trustworthiness in all engagements Evidence of successfully delivering a major project/programme involving multiple stakeholders within established policy frameworks or regulatory compliance. Experience of delivering and agreeing strategy at Board Level and the proven ability to formulate and deliver objectives ensuring agreed strategy is achieved. Demonstrated expertise in fostering employee engagement and enhancing performance Demonstrated ability to manage risk while capitalising on opportunities for growth and diversification. Other Essential Criteria will include You will be the College's designated Accounting Officer. Desirable Qualifications and Experience You will have a postgraduate or professional qualification You will have knowledge and understanding of the pivotal role FE colleges in Northern Ireland play in the delivery of skills development.
