Principal Combat Systems Integration Engineer

As a pivotal member of the Integration and Test team, you will be integral to the delivery of key outputs related to combat systems integration. This includes the design definition of Combat System Integration Rigs, identification of integration design proving requirements, and coordination across various disciplines. Relocation support packages are available subject to eligibility criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead activities to produce documentation supporting the design definition of Dreadnought Combat System Integration Rig(s).
• Identify and develop Integration Design Proving Requirements.
• Develop Test Specifications.
• Act as the Integration Point of Contact for Integration Issues raised by Sub System Teams.
• Identify areas of Integration Risk and propose Mitigations.
• Coordinate between multiple stakeholder groups to ensure the Integration programme is maintained.
• Support the Combat Systems Acceptance Process.

Job Requirements:

• Sound Systems Engineering knowledge and application.
• Experience in verification and validation phases of the lifecycle.
• Ability to operate at both engineering and project management levels within a large, complex project.
• Knowledge/background in Combat Systems, including external communication systems would be ideal, although not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface across teams at various levels.
