Principal Commercial Manager / Principal Procurement Manager / Principal Category Manager

We are seeking a Principal Commercial Manager to work in the defence sector.
Location: Hybrid working - Reading
Essential Skills: The ideal candidates will have a proven Commercial / Procurement / Category Management background, with the following skills/ experience:

• Experience in Public sector End-to-end Procurement experience
• Experience in Category Management & Category Strategies within the Defence, Nuclear or Central Government.
• Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management & Contract Management
• Experience in using CCS procurement frameworks.
• Experience in Procurement Act 2023 & PCR 2015
• MCIPs or equivalent

Desirable:

• NEC Contract knowledge Option A, C and E or any equivalent contracts
• Site Decontamination and/or Waste services would be beneficial
