Principal Consultant - Microsoft (Optimisation & Negotiation)This is a remote role based in either the United Kingdom or United States.This key role is accountable for the execution of the Optimisation and Negotiation methodology, and a leading contributor to its ongoing evolution within the Microsoft practice of the Optimisation team.The Principal Consultant, alongside the wider team, will be responsible for both Projects and Managed Service engagements, accountable for the service delivery and guiding the supporting team to ensure success.What you'll be doing: Accountable for delivering first class chargeable Optimisation Services to new and existing customers, managing and/or being a key member of the service delivery.Execute technical licensing and strategic client facing workshops through both phases of the Optimisation methodology, build coherent customer reports, and valuable Microsoft insights and analysis.Define, plan and coordinate customers internal negotiation approach for their Microsoft engagement.Collaborate seamlessly with the delivery team to ensure project or managed service deliverables and timescales are met.Add to the continual refinement and development of the Microsoft Optimisation team and Publisher Practice.Support the Sales Team with customer-facing pre-sales assistance where required.Take a leading role in specifying solutions and supporting proposals and tender responses.Deliver services presentations and demonstrations, being able to differentiate service offerings at a technical level from our competitors.What we are looking for: 5+ years Commercial contract optimisation and management experience within Microsoft Commercial Team or Global Licensing Service Provider.Demonstratable experience of effectively managing senior relationships within Blue Chip companies.Excellent Microsoft licensing knowledge, including cost modelling, in depth estate analysis, contractual expertise and solid experience of Microsoft contract negotiation.Experience of mentoring and coaching customers, individuals, and teams through a negotiation cycle.Excellent level of communication skills including the ability to present to both internal and external senior stakeholders.Strong commercial acumen.Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Our behaviours and values we like to see at Livingstone:We CommitWe CollaborateWe InnovateWe InspireAt Livingstone, we’re united by one goal: making sure your business makes every license count.
