Their approach emphasizes in-house training, professional development, and internal promotions.Position Summary: They seek a skilled and experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join the Newcastle office. The ideal candidate will lead projects from feasibility to post-occupancy, ensuring high standards of design and execution.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership:Lead electrical design projects, ensuring compliance with CIBSE guidelines and industry standards.Manage projects from feasibility through to post-occupancy, including high-end residential, multi-residential, hospital, and industrial units.Technical Expertise:Perform detailed electrical designs including low voltage, ELV systems, fire systems, and communications data.Carry out cable calculations using AMTECH and develop lighting schemes with DIALux and Relix.Ensure designs meet all regulatory and safety standards.Team Management:Manage and mentor a small team of up to 4 engineers.Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.Client Interaction:Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements are met.Present design proposals and project updates effectively.Sustainability and Innovation:Integrate energy-efficient solutions into designs.Promote continuous improvement within the design process.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Chartered EngineerProficiency in design software such as AMTECH, Relux, and DIALux.Strong knowledge of CIBSE guidelines and relevant standards.Proven track record of delivering full projects, including high-end residential.Excellent project management and communication skills.Benefits:Competitive salary package.25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.Flexible working arrangements, including 2 days from home.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Regular social events and exposure to the wider team.Diverse range of projects and the opportunity to work on competitions.PLEASE NOTE THIS COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP.
