Principal Mechanical Engineer with Design Experience - Nuclear Defence Project
Contract Duration: Minimum 12 months
Rate: Circa �50 P/H (IR35 assessment dependent)
The Role: We are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer with design experience for a crucial nuclear defence project. This is a contract role for a minimum of 12 months, with responsibilities including:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems.
• Performing detailed analysis to ensure safety and performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Conducting risk assessments and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Providing technical support during testing and commissioning.
• Preparing technical documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven design experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in defence or nuclear sectors.
• Proficiency in CAD and engineering tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
