Principal Mechanical Process Engineer

12 Month Contract (Inside IR35)
£70 up to £87 per hour umbrella
Mainly Remote (n site once every 6-8 weeks)
Job Requirements:
Plant development background - ideally nuclear / oil and gas
More Mechanical than process but with experience of the process side of things
ISO drawings, stress calculations / verifications
Support Drawings
Team leadership experience
Essential:
6-8+ years' experience of designing a mechanical services / process systems.
Experience of working in a highly regulated industry, strong preference to nuclear.
Understanding of hydraulic / pressure calculations.
Understanding of hazard identification and analysis associated with process systems (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP etc)
BEng/BSc in mechanical engineering or similar degree.
Experience checking design documentation.
Line management experience of 3+ direct reports.
Desirable:
SC cleared already
Masters' education
CEng or working towards
Understanding of IEC 61511
