If you are naturally enthusiastic, forward-thinking, creative and solutions focused this could be a fantastic opportunity.You will be responsible for:Writing high-quality, engaging and scientifically accurate content to context across a wide variety of deliverablesTaking the lead on designated projects and providing support for junior writersPlaying an active role in supporting the Associate Creative Director (Copy) to build our scientific strategy offering and help manage project outcomesProviding high level scientific advice and guidance to clients as well as collaborating with the accounts team to build and advance our business partnershipsDriving forwards ideas, concepts, and suggestions to always provide added value to projectsBeing a key figure for ensuring editorial control processes and industry regulations standards are metBeing an agency ambassador, demonstrating our agency values and proactively contributing to the culture of the wider teamEssential criteria:Expertise in multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, immunology, gastroenterology, haematology and dermatology.Interpreting scientific data – demonstrating the ability to combine medical communication skills with creative thinking to conceive and write content across a wide range of assetsAbility to quickly pick up new knowledge and good understanding around the marketing strategy of productsGuides development of channel-, message- and tone-appropriate copy for all audiences and media typesSupports the client pitch process by providing expert knowledge, insights, and adviceWorks alongside designers and art directors to inform the creation of engaging and accurate visual presentationsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and proactively contributes to and is confident in leading discussionsGood attention to detail and ability to integrate core editorial processes and best-writing principles within team projectsCompetent and confident working both autonomously and collaboratively across teamsPrevious line management would be advantageous - ability to mentor, coach and provide feedback to fellow writersAre you a skilled senior medical writer who is looking to take the next step their career?Requirements: A strong degree in a scientific or medical field plus significant experience within a medical writing roleLocation: Leeds or with the option to work remotelySalary: Dependant on experience
