We are committed to supporting industries battling climate change towards a net-zero future and a sustainable economy.About the RoleNextWave is working with a global renewable energy consultancy who are searching for a Principal Power Systems Engineer to lead power system solution efforts for their portfolio of offshore wind projects in the UK.ResponsibilitiesInterface with UK electricity transmission, distribution entities, and the Electricity System Operator for project requirementsCollaborate with global renewable energy developers on technical project specifications and integrationApply and ensure compliance with UK Grid Code for generation projectsConduct detailed power system analyses (load flow, short circuit, fault ride-through, EMT) using software like DigSilent PowerFactory, PSCAD, ETAPDevelop technical solutions for gigawatt-scale offshore wind projects up to FEED stageRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree or above in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)Experience with Offshore Wind projects and power system studiesExperience managing client relationshipsUnderstanding of regulatory requirements for Offshore Wind projects in the UKApplicationIf you are interested in this position, please apply directly on the platform with your latest CV.
