We are looking for a Principal Procurement Manager to work within the defence sector.

Location: Hybrid working - Aldermaston

About the role : You will be responsible for developing, implementing and driving category strategy to deliver cost effective category solutions and business models.

Essential Skills: The ideal candidates will hold Active DV clearance and have a proven Principal Procurement Management background, with the following skills/ experience:
Extensive public sector procurement experience.
Experience of working in a procurement project/ programme environment.
Experience of contract regulations, negotiating contracts and/or managing contracts and suppliers.
Experience of working in a public sector commercial team and managing the procurement process.
Experience of portfolio planning and asset management.
Knowledge of procurement reform act (Desirable).
