Job Description

Piramal is looking for a Team-leader/Principal Development Scientist responsible for leading method development, validation, Technical lead for projects ranging from lab-scale to toxicology development and pre-GMP technology transfer. The role will involve both technical and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess both a strong technical background, and the proven ability (or potential) to lead and develop team of scientists. A track record of delivering project commitments on time is essential.

Responsible for project deliverables in line with agreed objectives and timelines.
Provide technical support and advice for manufacturing activities relating to processes developed or transferred into Piramal.
Responsibility for analytical / process conclusions reported.
Daily leadership of small development team across multiple projects
Mentoring of Scientists and direct line management responsibility
