This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the security posture of a leading organization by identifying capabilities needed for InfoSec success and driving secure-by-design principles into business and technology change activities.Key Responsibilities:Clearly articulate needed capabilities, identify gaps, and assess improvement opportunitiesMap required InfoSec capabilities using personal, organizational, and industry knowledgeCommunicate with stakeholders and sponsors to understand ambitions, issues, limitations, and constraints related to Security ArchitectureCreate and maintain architecture artifacts and collateralSupport InfoSec leadership in developing and implementing the InfoSec strategyActively participate in Enterprise Architecture & Design community and governance processesEnsure correct application of security principles, patterns, and building blocksShare knowledge, coach, and mentor on security topics and principlesDefine security standards and guardrails, supporting their implementation and ongoing supportEssential Qualifications:Must be knowledgeable in 2 or more security domains (Application, Network, Infrastructure, Cloud, End-User Compute, IoT, and ICU Security)10 years of experience within technology, with 3 years in an architecture or solutions design-based roleEngineering or Business Analyst backgroundAbility to use lateral thinking to break down problems, identify, and diagnose root causesDesirable Qualifications:Supporting qualifications in technology or security (TOGAF, SABSA, SANS Architecture, Microsoft/Azure Architecture, British Computer Society Diploma)Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISK, CGEIT)Computer Science or Cyber Security DegreeAs a Principal Security Architect, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of security professionals, collaborating with various technology teams to ensure the highest level of security across the organization.
