Position : Principal Software Developer (Contract)
Duration : Up to 50 Days
Day Rate : Competitive (Outside IR35)
Location : Fully Remote
We're looking for a Principal Software Developer with a knack for designing modular and reusable architectures to join a government project and help lead the migration from Drupal to a modern, headless CMS solution.
What you will be doing:
Prototype Development: Build functional prototypes to test and refine solutions.
Testing Strategy: Collaborate with the wider team to design and execute testing activities (security, performance, usability, and integration).
Options Evaluation: Lead the creation of detailed evaluations and recommendations for technical solutions.
Migration Planning: Co-author a comprehensive migration plan to guide the transition to the new architecture.
What you will need to have:
Drupal Migration Expertise: Proven experience in migrating from Drupal, including implementing a Headless CMS architecture.
Architecture Design: Deep understanding of designing modular and reusable architectures.
Prototyping: Strong ability to develop and present working prototypes.
Report Writing: Excellent skills in developing technical recommendations and evaluation reports.
Collaborative Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and support testing activities.
