Principal Software Engineer – Global Investment/Asset Manager - £180,000 plus packageOFS are partnered with a major Investment Management fund who currently have almost $1.5 trillion in assets under management.This is an opportunity to be a part of their continued growth whilst having a significant impact on the technical direction within the business.You’ll operate as a hands-on engineer whilst occasionally leading teams on large, complex projects.You’ll also:Create firm-wide technical direction and contribute to the formalisation of strategic decisionsDeliver holistic solutions to difficult technical challengesProvide technology leadershipCore Tech Stack: Java | Python | AWSWhat you’ll need: 10+ years of experience within a software engineering roleHigh-level expertise in JavaDemonstrate a deep understanding of different development styles (OO, Functional etc.)Strong coding skills across various languages and frameworksDeep understanding of automated testingProficient designing complex database schemaKnowledge of AWS and/or other cloud providersPrior experience working in financial services, ideally within a Hedge Fund, Asset Manager, etc.Be present in the London office at least 2 days per weekBase salary: £150,000 - £180,000 depending on experienceFull job description available, please apply and I'll be in touch 👌🏼#10833
