Principal Solution Architect Application Architecture - Microservices - Monolithic - Event Driven ArchitectureCloud TransformationWe are looking for experienced Solutions Architects at various levels to join a rapidly growing consulting business that specialises in Digital Cloud Transformation solutions.The Solutions Architect will be responsible for architectural governance on solutions, designing end-to-end scalable solutions, utilising microservice architecture, assisting from an enterprise architecture perspective and contributing to improving agile practices supporting clients business applications and IT environment.Our client looks for individuals who can deliver exceptional technical solutions but more importantly act as a true partner to the organisations they support – this is why excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are needed for this role.This is a unique role providing you with the opportunity to work on some of the most prestigious national Public Sector projects that will have an immediate impact on our everyday lives. If making a difference to our UK National Infrastructure and services excites you then there will NOT be many organisations that will be able to offer you this type of unique.Key Attributes for Solutions Architect:Define solutions for business problems to address functional and non-functional requirementsPreparing high and low-level designs, ensuring adherence to requirements, design principles, and overall solution visionProvide assistance from an enterprise architect perspectiveRevamp multiple functionalities to align with an event-driven architecture in accordance with microservice principles.Devise cloud-native, end-to-end solutions with high scalabilityAnticipating and addressing potential obstacles and risks ahead of time to ensure a seamless, event-driven project completion.Clearly address stakeholder expectations and describe solutions using industry modelling notationsDefine and document standards and guidelines to direct the solution deliveryEnsure that the finished product conforms to the architectural principles and standardsParticipate in business development activities, bids and development of innovative offeringsExperience required for Solutions Architect role:Strong working knowledge of open source, standards and cloud technologiesExcellent working knowledge of design patterns and modelling notations such as Archimate, UML and BPMNPractical involvement in creating application architecture, such as implementing microservices, containers, developing and designing cloud-based applicationsSC cleared or willing to go through security clearance (Mandatory requirement must be living in the UK for five years minimum to obtain SC)Ability to work as lead for components of large complex projects.Good knowledge of integration techniques, architecture patterns and non-functional driversAbility to understand and challenge designsHighly Desirable – AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate / Professional Certification
