I'm am currently in search of a highly skilled and motivated Antenna Design Engineer to tackle challenging antenna design problems with innovative solutions. The role spans the entire development lifecycle, from capturing requirements and system-level design to concept development, simulation, prototyping, optimisation, and verification. Additionally, this position involves overseeing the Antenna design team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the generation of new business by managing bids, crafting concept designs, estimating tasks, and generating proposals.
  • Design, develop, and test innovative antenna and RF products.
  • Perform electromagnetic simulations and analysis to optimize antenna performance.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate relevant innovations into product designs.
  • Conduct requirements analysis.
  • Produce documentation to support product development and verification.
  • Aid in the qualification and review of designs to meet requirements, including formal testing and analysis.
  • Assist in the development of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and software design.
  • Manage a team of Antenna and RF Engineers.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Degree in a relevant Engineering field.
  • Solid theoretical and practical RF experience.
  • Deep understanding of RF principles, transmission line theory, and antenna theory.
  • Familiarity with one or more electromagnetic solvers (e.g., CST MWS, FEKO, HFSS).
  • Proficient with RF test and measurement equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers.
  • Experience in antenna design and active/passive RF and Microwave circuit design is desirable.
  • Knowledge of antenna test ranges/anechoic chambers is advantageous.
  • Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and PC skills.
