Principle Licensing Officer

Key responsibilities : 

• Oversee and process licensing applications, including those under the Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005.


• Conduct inspections, gather evidence, and prepare prosecution papers and witness statements as part of the enforcement process.


• Represent the council at resident and business forums and provide expert guidance on licensing matters.


• Prepare detailed reports for committee hearings and attend hearings and court proceedings when required.


• Effectively manage a complex caseload and prioritize competing demands to ensure deadlines are met.


• Collaborate with other team members and provide guidance to junior staff when required.

Start time : 9:00 AM

End time : 5:00 PM
