Principle Security Architect – SC Cleared, Hybrid-Summerset, £800, 6 MonthsThe Information Security Principal (Risk and Architecture) is responsible for leading and continuous review of Cyber Risk Management, Security Architecture and Secure Design within the organisation. The Information Security Principal (Risk and Architecture provides expertise and mitigates cyber-related risks. They provide risk or service owners with advice to help them make well informed risk-based decisions. They provide expert advice and enable technical teams to make strong security decisions. They provide advice and guidance to ensure common tools and patterns are used effectively to deliver secure systems and implement proportionate controls to enable business outcomes. Competence:Experience of leading others to undertake activities.Have excellent written and oral communication skills to produce reports and give presentations at an organisation wide level to senior leadership and large groups.Be able to analyse complex business requirements, propose possible solutions and make recommendations.Experience of making decisions at the appropriate time, taking into account the needs of the situation, priorities, constraints and the availability of necessary information. Experience of checking progress against targets, reporting as necessary and taking action to resolve exceptions.Essential:
Extensive experience in Security Architecture including designing cloud-based platforms (Azure/ Microsoft 365/ Amazon AWS)Expert knowledge in Information Security Risk Management ideally in Government or critical national infrastructure.Experience in advising on Application security at a technical levelProven relevant work experience focused on the design and implementation of security solutions and technologies, typically as part of projects or large programmes of work.Good Awareness of the principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of the security testing process and the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects, for example: standards for security testing, planning & estimating, configuration management, incident management, test efficiency and effectiveness measurement.Desirable:Experience of IT Security OperationsSound working knowledge of Data Protection regulationsMinorities, women, LGBTQ+ candidates, and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.Interviews will take place next week, so please apply immediately to be considered for this exciting contract role or call Bangura Solutions to discuss this role further.
