Role Overview:
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will provide expert advice and support to a broad range of clients on matters including wills, trusts, probate, tax planning, and lasting powers of attorney. You will manage your own caseload, work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless client service, and contribute to the firm's growth and reputation in this area.
Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a diverse caseload of private client matters including wills, trusts, probate, estate administration, and tax planning.
\n
• Offering tailored advice to high-net-worth individuals and families on asset protection and wealth management.
\n
• Drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney documents.
\n
• Administering estates and managing probate matters efficiently and sensitively.
\n
• Liaising with clients and third parties to ensure smooth communication and client satisfaction.
\n
• Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal developments, particularly in relation to tax and estate planning.
\n
• Contributing to business development initiatives and attending networking events to enhance the firm’s presence in the market.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Qualified Solicitor (2+ years PQE) with experience in private client law.
\n
• Proven track record of managing a varied caseload in wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning.
\n
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
\n
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
\n
• A proactive and commercial approach to client matters.
\n
• Knowledge of tax and inheritance planning is highly desirable.
\n
• STEP qualification or working towards it is advantageous but not essential.
