An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join a reputable legal practice in Basingstoke. They are a full-service law firm that are seeking a Solicitor with a good understanding of the market to join their well established corporate commercial team.

The team provide a first-class service to clientele across a range of high net worth transactions and have a strong reputation in various industries.  They deal with a large range of transactions, with clients in the South of England and London.

Duties will include:

  • Working independently on a varied case load to include mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, shareholders’ agreements, amendments of Articles of Associations, commercial contracts and IT and IP.
  • Working as part of a team on larger transactions.
  • Working with several other professional advisors including corporate finance advisors, accountants, and tax specialists.
  • Active involvement with business development.

Desired skills:

  • A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years of PQE +.
  • Be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in running and building your own caseload.
  • Corporate and Commercial law exposure gained at a law firm or in house.
  • Have very high level of technical competence.
  • Marketing and business development skills.
  • Confident networker with the ability to develop their own case load and build and maintain client relationships.
