We have a rare opportunity for a Portfolio Monitoring role within the Private Markets team. The role provides ongoing monitoring of private equity, private credit and infrastructure investments and helping to ensure the integrity and completeness of portfolio data used for portfolio monitoring and client reporting. In this role you will: Portfolio monitoring - providing ongoing monitoring of existing investment portfolio. Maintain and update key investment database, ensuring integrity and completeness of data used for portfolio monitoring and client reporting. Develop analysis and templates for the purposes of benchmarking, peer analysis and other valuation assurance-based exercises. Help prepare responses to inbound client requests and assist with client reporting. Support the team in the digitalization of the portfolio management capabilities. Participate in the team day-to-day activities of running a best-in-class global Alternative investment program. Assist with the management of relationships with third-party portfolio data providers and other service providers. Engage with various stakeholders across internal and external teams. Requirements To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: Proven experience in working with a private market investment team, a keen interest in overseeing an existing private market portfolio and enhancing data quality and client reporting. Extensive experience in the financial industry with a solid grasp of Private markets, Corporate Finance, and Portfolio monitoring. Understanding of private equity metrics, with a grasp for fund valuations and how they translate to portfolio valuations. Have a data-driven approach. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Proficient in using industry-specific systems like Dynamo, iLevel, eFront or equivalent portfolio data systems. Experience working with private markets datasets from Pitchbook, Preqin, CapitalIQ or Bloomberg. Exceptional project management and organizational abilities. Capable of collaborating in a small project team under strict time constraints. Proactive approach to investigating large datasets and presenting through new templates and dashboards. Strong financial and data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel (MS Office), Macros, PowerBi or equivalent to manage and automate large datasets. This role is based in London.
