This award-winning full service city law firm specialises in legal services to domestic and international high-net-worth private individuals and families, family offices and commercial clients, and is ranked in the legal directories for several practice areas. The firm is well known for building very strong client relationships, often spanning several generations. The firm comprises of 40+ partners and 200+ staff members.
The firm's tier 1 Private Wealth Disputes practice have in high value cases across the UK, as well as Guernsey, Jersey, Gibraltar, the Bahamas, Bermuda, the BVI and the United States.
Clients range from trustees to protectors, administrators, beneficiaries, HNW individuals and landed estates. The team regularly advises the former in respect of their duties and obligations, and the latter in their rights and claims in the law. In particular, the team regularly advises on estate and probate disputes including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and will validity challenges.
In relation to Trust disputes, the team advises on a variety of issues including applications for the removal of trustees and protectors, cross-border breaches of trust or fiduciary duty by trustees or protectors and applications concerning long standing family trusts. The team also handles matters in the Court of Protection and issues of professional negligence in the context of the private wealth sphere.
The team are now seeking an experience private wealth disputes solicitor to join their offices in London. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience PQE in private wealth disputes gained at another top-tier practice in London.
