Process Engineer

Mego is proud to recruit for a world-renowned, market-leading manufacturer located in the Ocean City of Plymouth.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Process Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will support production by ensuring best practices are implemented and feedback is effectively utilised.

This role requires the ability to understand process routing and strive to improve/optimise corrective actions to address nonconformance issues.

Responsibilities (Not limited to)

• Support production with the objective of reducing the cost of poor quality and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Conduct risk analysis to evaluate the potential for process failures based on performance data.
• Take ownership of problems, leveraging all available resources to develop and implement long-term solutions, and manage change effectively.
• Lead investigations into process issues that impact product quality.
• Develop and implement processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) centred around best practice principles, in collaboration with Cell Leaders, Self-Managed Teams, and Process Owners.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, ideally in a technical or engineering role.
• Degree in Engineering (or currently pursuing one).
• Proven experience in engineering problem-solving, process design, and equipment design.
