Process Operator

Our Client, a leading design and build contractor is currently seeking Process Operators to join them on a Contract basis.

Working across sites in/around North Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire you'll be working as part of a wider team to deliver projects on the United Utilities framework.

Ideally, you'll have experience working within the Water industry on clean or wastewater projects.

Duties will include:�

• Responsibility for process monitoring of the�plant(s)


• Daily monitoring of the process operating parameters (MLSS, SSVI, final effluent analyses, sludge thickener performance, sludge, chemicals)

• Daily monitoring of equipment (oxidation ditch (inducers, blowers, instruments, ferric, caustic, sludge thickeners, etc)

• Monitoring of analysers, recalibration of instruments, ordering of reagents

• Adjustment of process parameters to maintain performance

• Reporting findings to process commissioning engineer

• Consultation with client, suppliers, and process team

• Regular progress meetings with the end client to update on project performance and highlight any potential delays

• Daily site logs

• Ordering of and taking delivery of chemicals to site�

The expected duration of this assignment is 9 months but has scope to be extended depending on workload.�
