Process Technician

iO has partnered with an exciting start-up company based near Sheffield that has developed a groundbreaking process for converting methane into hydrogen! We on the search for a Process Technician to join the team to support the operation and maintenance of production equipment. This is a really exciting opportunity to work for a company involved in green energy, and really make a difference in the world! After a recent investment, they are now looking to grow. As the Process Technician, you will support engineers and scientists in the technological development of methane pyrolysis and green energy solutions. Responsibilities:Opportunity to set up and prepare laboratory facilities, instruments, equipment and materials for experiments.Quality Assurance and Quality control.Perform calibration and maintenance of equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Collect data, measurements, and observations whilst recording and documenting experimental data.Follow SOPs and protocols, whilst complying with safety protocols and ensuring compliance is within regulations and guidelines. You will need:3+ years' experience as a technician in an engineering/lab environment.Experience working within a highly regulated industry.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a safety-focused individual.Knowledge of 5S.Track record operating PLC control systems.Right to work in the UK In return for this, you will receive a salary of up to £35,000, alongside benefits such as private healthcare, share options scheme, employee assistance program, pension contribution and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays).
