The Role
The Procurement and Contracts Manager will be responsible for advising and supporting procurement and contract management processes whilst ensuring internal stakeholders are aware of procurement processes and comply with internal policies and regulation. The role will also advise the Chief Executive and Directors on relevant legal and regulatory requirements relating to public procurement and contract management, including government functional standards and ensuring policies reflect these and best practice. The Person
To be considered for the role you will need to have previous experience in a senior role within procurement and have full membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS). You will need to have experience and hands on knowledge of Public Sector Procurement regulations and also have contract management experience. Some experience in construction procurement as well as knowledge of JCT and NEC 3/4 would be an advantage.
