One of our local authority clients are currently recruiting for a Procurement & Construction Lawyer. This is a 3 month temporary contract with possible further extension based on budget and performance.





Main Purpose of Post/Job Summary



The successful post holder will have experience with both Procurement and Construction Law.



Duties and Responsibilities




  • Drafting and advising on JCT and NEC Contracts, preferably in local government,

  • Advising on all aspects of procurement in the public sector and drafting contracts.

  • Needs to be able to demonstrate a  proven track record of excellent client care and meeting deadlines.

  • Needs to be IT proficient, preferably with experience of using a case management system (including time recording).
