Recruitment Consultant at Alexander Steele Technical, Operations & Supply Chain Specialist within the Food, Drinks & FMCG Manufacturing Industry Alexander Steele is recruiting a Procurement Lead to join a leading food manufacturing business based in Oxfordshire. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely sourcing, quality assurance, and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services. The successful candidate will be accountable for circa £35m spend and will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating and maintaining contracts across the key areas within the business. Responsibilities: Promotes innovative ways to add value and reduce costs within the category spend under their remit. Continue to establish and maintain ongoing relationships with preferred suppliers and new suppliers. Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company s needs. Must be results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against KPI targets and project deadlines. Report and communicate on supply chain risk and opportunity. 4+ years of experience in a similar role within a similar FMCG manufacturing environment. Strong contract management and supplier experience. Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels. What s on Offer: 25 days holiday + bank holidays. 6% company pension.
