Procurement Manager / Buyer

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Manager / Senior Buyer to join a leading Construction Contractor in the North Yorkshire area.
Working within an established team and reporting to the Directors you'll be responsible for but not limited to:

• Building relationships with current and perspective suppliers
• Negotiating for best price
• Analysing market trends to better identify purchasing options
• Read bills / schedule take offs from site drawings
• Updating of Order logs and comparison work books
• Control of stock levels

Ideally you will have experience working within the Construction / Engineering Sector and:

• Have strong Analytical / mathematical ability
• Excellent written / verbal communication
• Excellent presentation skills
• Solid working knowledge of computer packages (MS Office + MS Projects)
