Job Function:



To guarantee the efficient and timely procurement of high-quality equipment, goods, and services, within budget and at competitive prices, supporting seamless operational execution.



Main Responsibilities:




  • Monitor stock levels and accurately forecast product demand to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Identify and secure optimal products and suppliers, ensuring best value, reliable delivery, and quality.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers. Negotiate and manage contracts, continuously improving product and service quality.

  • Analyse market trends and predict their impact on future procurement activities.

  • Provide market analysis and identify potential growth opportunities.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement/purchasing plan.

  • Align suppliers with business objectives to achieve organisational targets.

  • Maintain compliance with all relevant company and regulatory standards, including food safety and health & safety.

  • Enhance employee skillsets and promote adaptability, with a focus on results-oriented relationship building.

  • Support trainee development to ensure a pipeline of future talent.

  • Ensure new product development (NPD) utilizes approved suppliers. Collaborate with NPD on sourcing and managing new ingredients.



Skills Required:




  • Preferred PG CIPS membership (optional).

  • Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and influencing abilities.

  • Results-driven with strong commercial acumen.

  • Detail-oriented with strategic thinking capabilities.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, presentations, and reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high performance standards.

  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Robust project management skills.

  • Ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent supplier relationship management skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on maintaining professional relationships.
