Location: London/Welwyn Garden City
Duration: 6 months initially

The role:
As a Procurement Manager for Infrastructure, you will negotiate complex supply agreements for the delivery of network infrastructure and connectivity hardware, software, support and maintenance services at sites and data centres across the UK & Central Europe. You will work on some of the biggest contracts for the group, which shape the future of technology.
Responsibilities:
� Supporting the infrastructure and workplace technology teams to procure colleague and customer hardware such as self-service checkouts, PDA, scanner devices, main bank tills, servers and storage facilities and associated device peripherals.
� Negotiating contracts for the supply of Telecommunication services including customer Wi-Fi, mobile connectivity, and call centre solutions.
� Supporting the cloud and workplace technology strategies by negotiating high value cloud consumption and software licensing agreements with Microsoft.
� Working with senior Technology colleagues to provide contractual guidance, sourcing options and support, project delivery and supplier relationship management.
� Actively minimising revenue and capital costs through improved use of tools and processes. This will be achieved through a combination of influencing others and robust planning.
� Consistently tracking and reporting on savings targets for specified sub-categories using the agreed process.
� Using good judgement to build new and develop existing supplier relationships to ensure continued suitability and create greater value across the organisation.
Requirements:
� A number of years procurement experience across Infrastructure & Hardware & Telecoms
� Ability to work multi-functionally and engage senior colleagues
� Strong negotiation skills and commercial savviness
� Knowledge of supplier relationship and performance management as well as category planning experience
