Procurement Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Lead to join our team and drive strategic procurement initiatives. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and optimizing supply chain operations.

The role is 100% office based and offered with a salary of �45 - �60K, depending on your experience.

Key to this role is drive and ambition. We are a small business and the role is not a strict 9 to 5. There will be times of urgency and a need to work outside standard hours when business dictates.

Responsibilities:

• purchasing and ordering goods and services, preferably in an engineering environment


• building up an approved supplier list


• responding quickly to both immediate needs, challenges and is able to help build a supply chain and related processes.


• knowledge and use of MS Dynamics as an ERP tool would be preferable.


• comfortable negotiating, chasing and persuading others to better.


• comfortable working with all areas and levels of a business

Requirements:

- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.

- Familiarity with MS Dynamics or similar procurement systems.

- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.

- Knowledge of logistics and inventory management principles.

- Understanding of supply chain processes from sourcing to delivery.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
