Procurement Manager - Hertfordshire - �70k
Platform Recruitment have partnered with a�leading client in the defence and cyberspace sectors. They are looking to take on an experienced procurement manager who can implement�global sourcing strategies for all aspects of procurement.�
The ideal candidate will be able to lead and manage the team establishing departmental and personal objectives for each member.�
Key responsibilities:
+ Manage the procurement processes for competitive tendering.
+ Spearhead continuous� improvement in all areas of supply chain performance.
+ Ensure imports and exports fully comply with appropriate�legislation
Key skills:
+�Experience within a purchasing�role at Executive Management level.
+ Strong understanding of�understanding of MRP, kanban, contract law, and negotiation.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills�
+ Familiar with change management environments�
Willingness to occasionally travel to visit Customer sites in the UK or overseas is�required and a CIPS qualification is preferred.�
The salary will be up to �70k�depending on previous experience�with great company benefits.�
